Once everything is safety checked, you and the pilot will need to take a small run of around 5 – 15 metres until you leave the ground and begin your flight.
Whilst flying, it is possible to interact with the pilot. The instructor will likely give you details about the sites you are seeing below you as you fly. When you near the end of the descent, you and your pilot, will need to step down softly and do few steps forward as you come into contact with the ground
This is a sport that is highly dependent on weather and wind conditions. Based on the height difference between the takeoff and landing locations, a 'typical' discovery tandem trip will last 20 minutes. The length of the flight and of the activity as a whole – including transport times, can vary.
(All passengers must be in good physical and mental health and be between the ages of 8 and 100 in order to travel with us. A parent or legal guardian must give permission for a child under the age of 18 to fly. In order for us to arrange you appropriately if you weigh 90 kg or more, do let us know in advance. If the wind is really light, this prevents disappointments. Likewise, please let us know when making a reservation if you or any members of your group weigh 40 kilograms or less.)
